I believe I may be traumatizing the poor child. Now hopefully we can all put my transgression behind us. I would like to know why one might consider my ass-kicking comment to violate my site philosophy. Also, I think most holidays have been co-opted by capitalism, at least in North America. Nonetheless, they do still retain some sentimental, emotional, and spiritual value, unless, of course, you suffer from a permanent state of grinch-scrooge-shrunken-heart syndrome.
